Iris

bench. april 2014.

Iris is a circular bench for public space. It consists of a number of slightly trapezoidal seesaws arranged in a circle interconnected by a rope. As long as left alone it rests in peace. When approached by people it leans towards them under their weight and changes its shape. The bench can be used by multiple people and even groups independently but may require cooperation.
